BASTARD NOISE OUR EARTH'S BLOOD JAPAN TOUR 2015

Bastard Noise was founded in 1991 by Henry Barnes, W. T. Nelson and Eric Wood, initially as a side project of power violence band Man Is The Bastard. Bastard Noise is currently in solo form headed by founding member Eric Wood. Bastard Noise has collaborated with MSBR, Keiji Haino, Merzbow, Christian Renou, Guilty Connector, Government Alpha and many others. Although Bastard Noise utilises many instruments, the project has come to be known and recognised by the idiosyncratic sound of their purpose-crafted gear unique to the project. Electro-acoustic devices such as "the Coil", controllers such as joysticks repurposed from broken arcade games and a vast array of high and low voltage analog audio generators were invented, engineered and hand-built by Henry Barnes (Amps for Christ) and W. T. Nelson (Trogotronic) specifically for Bastard Noise lending to the projects’ distinctive sound. Bastard Noise project has documented its work inside the recording studio, on stage and even in the kitchen with well over 100 recordings issued. Eric Wood will be performing with local musicians during the 2015 Bastard Noise tour of Japan. Guests will include Guilty Connector, Hiroshi Hasegawa, Kenny Sanderson and shayne bowden.
